"CARDATO RECYCLED" BRAND - WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The trademark is available to regenerated wool manufacturers or fabric and yarn manufacturers operating within the Prato district. Contractors, both independent and those who belong to a certified supply chain, can also participate.
Regenerated wool manufacturers
Can certify their entire company production or only part of it, if they are able to demonstrate traceability.
Fabric and yarn manufacturers
Can certify a series of articles, which they identify as being made with at least 65% regenerated wool. They must be able to reconstruct the product’s entire production chain. To do this, they may need to ask third parties for data.
Subcontractors
Can certify the service they offer to client companies. They can choose from two different paths:
- If they supply clients who have or require a logo, they can obtain a "certificate of participation" in which the environmental impact of their production is guaranteed
- If they are not part of a certified chain, they can independently apply for certification
